Dyson hot air multiplier heater

Based on the excellent Dyson fans, the new Dyson hot air multiplier heater warms the whole room faster than any conventional hot fan. The temperature of Dyson Hot Fan can be set anywhere between 32°F and 99°F to heat a room and an intelligent thermostat will keep it there. Dyson Hot monitors the room temperature by measuring surrounding air. If a drop is detected, the heater turns back on to maintain the set temperature.

This Dyson air multiplier uses patented technology, drawing the air in through a mixed flow impeller with the help of a combination of the technologies used in turbochargers and jet engines. The air is then accelerated through a 2.5mm aperture set within the loop amplifier, creating a jet of hot air which passes over an airfoil-shaped ramp channelling its direction. Surrounding air is drawn into the airflow, amplifying it 6 times.

With no exposed heating elements and low surface temperatures throughout, Dyson hot air fan keeps your house safe. If the fan is accidentally tipped over, it automatically shuts off. For your convenience, the hot air multiplier heater comes with remote control which turns the fan on and off, adjusts temperature, airflow rate and controls oscillation. The remote control is curved and magnetised to store neatly on top of the machine.
In addition, unlike conventional heaters, this one has a dual-mode function as a cooling fan. Dyson hot air multiplier heater is available in iron / blue and white / silver for $400. Dyson. [Appliancist]
